For those who are unaware, the QL is an ancient system (dating back from 1984). Although there are not many users of this system left (a couple of thousand), there is still quite a bit of activity in the QL World. The original hardware was made by Sinclair but is
no longer available. However, there is currently replacement hardware available, and several flavors of the OS (QDOS (org), Minerva and SMSQ/E). The last can run on Atari ST/TT. There are also several emulators available for PC, Mac and Unix systems. |
